Vermonters make historic baseball trip to CubaIn February, 2016 I was granted with the opportunity of a lifetime. I was invited to document the journey of the first U.S. little league team to go to Cuba since the embargo. I captured hours of stills and video footage, and compiled the best of the clips into a video to accompany my article that appeared in the Burlington Free Press.

Generations of summer fun at Camp AbnakiIn July 2016, I headed out to the Lake Champlain islands region to visit a classic summer camp. Camp Abnaki was celebrating 100 years at its current location. I interviewed staff and campers, and captured footage of summertime scenes around the property, ranging from canoeing, kayaking, frisbee and sailing. The video piece I put together was to accompany an article I wrote and did a great job capturing the experience and spirit of the camp.

The wackiest foods found at the Champlain Valley FairThe Champlain Valley Fair is home to some crazy culinary offerings. With my camera in hand, I walked around the fairgrounds trying concoctions ranging from a deep-fried taco to alligator on a stick. I also interviewed the cooks and customers, turned the experience into a short and entertaining video for the Burlington Free Press website.

Vintage trailers take you back in timeWhen dozens of vintage trailers rolled into the state capital for a show, I immediately knew that the event would make for a great video.
I captured a tour of one of the classic campers, and also put together some colorful scenes and details. Paired with upbeat music, the video I produced was an excellent way to bring to life my accompanying article. |
